Family faces

Can't believe how fast these kids grow up! Sierra is grade three already,
Solomon, he sure has come out of his shell this year, he is quite the little personality
Cassendra, the shirt says it all "princess is great, queen is better"
some of us are still kids at heart!Posted by Picasa

more of the same

Diversification, that is the key to success, maybe Bob is taking this a little to far, not sure how you herd beavers! this one seems to be living in the dugout across the road, not sure where he came from! This is one of the fields I actually baled, see how nice and neat they are, that's skill my friends!

and this is where the money goes! kind of like giant piggy banks all in rows

this is NOT where the bale is supposed to be. I was very lucky that this one didn't fall farther and hit the truck! I would have been working off a pretty serious debt.

this is how they are supposed to be stacked when I arrive....oops

Hauling Bales with Bob

Ocean and I decided after sleeping in on Monday morning that we would go out to the farm to "help" Bob haul bales in from the fields.(Ocean's real motivation was to see the new shop kittens and mine was to see...well, not kittens) But we had an awesome time, and actually were able to be of some assistance. Yes he could have done it all with out us but maybe we saved him a bit of time. Sarge is Bob's most faithful companion, he rides along no matter what the job is

Ocean and Bob drove the tractor and I pulled the bales behind the truck (some of these are ones I actually baled!)

thaksgiving dinner at John and Sara's

Bob had to help Ethan understand which team he should be cheering for...he'll tell you "you shouldn't be wearing this shirt around Bob, he doesn't like it!" While the other men were cooking up a storm, Bob was brewing some trouble with the little guys, they love having someone to wrestle with and he's quite willing to jump over furniture to get them! What were we ladies doing? Well we were visiting of course!

Jon and his most usaul past time...texting...he could win prizes for speed I'm sure. We were very glad to have him join us for supper and football (he's not as scary as he tries to look) but he can reach so very high for the ball...no fair!
Laura's mom, Charlotte was out for a visit and able to join us, she's very relaxed around all of us nuts.

Edgar, Amy and Garron's international student this year and last years student Ren who still comes to visit us (which we love!)

The chef, his assistants and his crutches! Mike and Jon and Megan did an awesome job,the food was delicious and well worth the wait!

thanksgiving football

We were missing our patriarch of the football field this year, not quite the same with out you dad!

team 1..Garron,amanda,jon K.,Edgar,Isreal and Logan (occasionaly Journey and ocean)
team 2..Jon J,Brad,Ren,Ocean,Sierra, ethan(Amanda switched sides and Bob joined near the end) Even out numbered, Garrons team dominated the field!
