this photo actually makes my rink look pretty good....it wasn't. I spent a lot of time out there and only a quarter of it was ever skatable....best intentions.
Ocean would skate all day every day if she could,and she never seems to get cold.

girls weekend in Edmonton

One of the cool things about getting older is getting together with friends who you were young and crazy with and having your kids hit it off the way you used to (and still do) Ocean and I took Valentines weekend and went to visit Dana and Heather. I had a great time and Ocean had a blast with friends and cousins (second cousins once removed?)

Ocean's Skate Program

sorry its been a while so I'm catching up on what you've missed. Ocean was in figure skating this winter and has progressed rapidly. she passed all her levels and is moving on to Intermediate next year (this means skating twice a week and doing testing) We are very proud of her!

Flu in the Mountains

The best laid plans.....I had booked a weekend through my timeshare in canmore for the kids and I over easter. The weeks before Sara and Amy's family had been very sick with the stomach flu, I thought we had escaped it. Oh no, we had not! The first morning Ocean woke up with a sick stomach and we all fell one after the other! At least we had a nice view out our window!

The folks at the vet clinic didn't even think Bella was pregnant but we could see a big difference in her usually very slim figure.

I'm not sure I signed on for this!

Puppies

the Assistant is ready, she took pictures, kept a record of birth times and sat with Bella through the whole thing!
